My buddy Dale swore by the 2 minute rule for emails and I finally tried it
Dale kept telling me to spend 2 minutes max on any email reply that did not need a document attached, and I brushed him off for almost a year. Then I tracked my inbox for 3 days and found I was spending 47 minutes rewriting short replies that nobody cared about. I gave his rule a shot and cleared 63 emails in one sitting, which normally takes me most of a morning. Now I'm wondering what else I do on autopilot that Dale is right about, what dumb sounding tip actually panned out for you?
