Found a $4 brass lamp at a garage sale in Fresno, spent 20 minutes with polish, and it looks like a $150 piece now
Went to an estate sale on Saturday morning in Fresno, mostly junk. Almost walked past this ugly green lamp for $4. Brought it home, hit the brass with some polish and a rag, and the tarnish came right off. Took maybe 20 minutes. It was dark brown and gross before. Now it shines. Same lamp though. Nothing else was done to it. I see people on here passing up tarnished brass all the time, and I get why, but that stuff cleans up easier than you think. What is the best tarnished thing you almost left behind and then cleaned up?
