The clippers died mid fade on a walk-in and I had to think fast with a guy in the chair watching me sweat
Last Tuesday around 6pm a walk-in sat down for a skin fade and my cordless clippers quit on me halfway up the left side. The battery was dead and my backup was sitting at home on the kitchen counter because I left it charging overnight. The guy could see the stripe in the mirror and just said, you good back there? I grabbed the corded pair from the drawer, re-blended the whole side, and blended it down so it looked on purpose. Took me an extra 18 minutes than normal and I gave him 10 bucks off for the trouble. He tipped anyway and booked again for two weeks out. Now I keep two charged batteries in the drawer no matter what. Any of you keep a dead battery policy that actually works, or do you just always run corded.
