Hot take: a $12 set of clipper guards beat the $80 brand name set I used for 2 years
The cheap plastic guards from the supply shop in Reno cut just as even on a 3 fade, but the big difference was the little tab that snaps down tight, so I stopped catching lines halfway up and redoing the whole side, which was eating 10 minutes per client.
