Changed my mind about hot towel machines after a guy in Detroit showed me his water bill
I always thought hot towel machines were just a gimmick that ate up counter space and money, but a barber in Detroit told me last week his electric bill only went up $9 a month after he switched from a kettle and steamer setup. He pulled up the DTE Energy app on his phone right there and showed me the actual usage graph, and it was way less than I guessed. So for those of you running hot towels, did you notice a jump in your power bill or was it about the same?
