My sourdough starter tried to drown itself in my Chicago apartment
It was my third attempt at a rye starter, and I left it on the radiator overnight. Woke up to a bubbly mess all over the kitchen floor. My roommate, Sarah, just laughed and handed me a mop. Anyone have a better spot for a starter in a tiny, cold apartment?

I mean, I keep mine in the microwave with the door cracked. It's just a bit warmer in there.
