My roommate's side of the bathroom went from biohazard to spotless in 9 days, and I know exactly why
I lived with a guy in a 2 bedroom in Boise who let his sink grow what I can only call a science project for about 7 months, and no amount of asking, notes, or passive aggressive Lysol spraying did anything. Then 9 days ago his mom came to visit for a weekend, and he scrubbed that whole side top to bottom in one afternoon. I'm talking bleach, a scrub brush, the works, stuff I had begged him to do since winter. The kicker is she left Sunday and by Tuesday his counter was covered in beard trimmings and empty cans again. So it turns out he's fully capable, he just doesn't care unless someone who raised him is watching. Has anyone else seen a roommate snap into clean mode the second family shows up, and did it ever stick after they left?
