Pro tip: watch the lot at Riverside Park in Columbus on a Sunday, the fire lane was packed bumper to bumper
I took my kids to Riverside Park in Columbus last Sunday and counted 6 cars parked right in the fire lane along the north entrance, one of them a big SUV sitting on the striped lines. An ambulance came through around 2pm and had to creep past the row at a crawl while a guy stood there waving his arms. If someone gets hurt there on a busy weekend, how is a truck supposed to get in, and does anyone know if the city actually tickets that lot or just ignores it?
