Small win: I finally fixed that flickering porch light in Canton

Been dealing with that buzzing, flickering porch light for like 6 weeks now, kept putting it off because I figured it was a wiring mess. Last Tuesday I got home early and just decided to poke at it with a ladder and a multimeter I borrowed from my neighbor Jim. Turned out it was just a loose neutral screw on the fixture, not even a bad switch. Took maybe 20 minutes total and now my porch doesn't look like a haunted house at night. Anyone else sit on tiny repairs until they turn into a big mental weight for no reason?

Oh man, this hits way too close to home. I let a dripping kitchen faucet drive me nuts for like two months because I was convinced the whole pipe was corroded, then my dad came over and just tightened the packing nut in five minutes flat. Now I feel dumb every time I walk past the sink, but hey, at least your porch looks normal again and we both learned we're lazy about things that take less time than complaining about them.

My neighbor Jim fixed his mailbox light the same way, loose wire, 15 minutes.
