Just hit my 25th rejection this month on job apps and I'm honestly stunned

I knew the market was rough but I didn't expect to get 25 no's in 30 days. Last one came from a startup in Austin where I actually knew someone on the inside. Has anyone else dealt with this many rejections and still managed to land something decent?

Had a buddy from trade school go through something real similar. Dude sent out maybe 40 apps over two months, heard nothing back but silence or form letters. One time he drove three hours for an interview and the guy never showed up. He was about to give up and move back in with his parents when a small shop he'd almost forgotten about called him back. Now he's been there two years and they're training him on equipment he never dreamed he'd touch. The rejection pile just means you haven't found the one that's actually gonna stick. Keep at it, man.

Used to think that whole "right place right time" stuff was just something people said to make you feel better. But @hugomurray your buddy's story is exactly why I changed my mind on that, sometimes it really is just a numbers game until you hit the right one.
