Tried saving my 'maters with an old trick my grandpa used, ended up with a pile of mush instead.

Last August in my backyard in Ohio, I saw the blight creeping in on my Brandywines and doused them with a baking soda spray just like he always did, but I guess he never had to deal with this humidity because the leaves curled up and the fruit softened into brown sludge within three days, so does anybody know a fix that won't wreck the whole patch?

That baking soda trick only works if you catch it early, you waited way too long.

My friend Karen left a fridge of pork shoulder out overnight and even bleach couldn't save it.
