PSA: I was watering my tomatoes at 7pm for 3 summers and that was the whole problem

Figured out last month that the late evening soak leaves the leaves wet all night, which is basically a welcome mat for blight. My neighbor Ray on Fletcher Street pointed at my yellow spotted leaves and asked when I water. Told him 7pm sharp, and he just shook his head. Switched to 6:30am, deep soak twice a week, and the new growth has zero spots after 5 weeks. Leaves now dry off by mid morning instead of sitting damp till noon. Anyone else get fooled into the evening watering habit from a garden book?
