My neighbor's compost pile taught me a lesson about tomato blight
I had a whole row of tomatoes turn yellow and die last August, and I blamed the weather. Then my neighbor mentioned she dumps all her diseased plants in the same corner every year, and that corner is right next to my garden bed. Anybody else have a neighbor whose compost habits messed with their veggies?

Hold on, are you sure it was the neighbor's compost pile and not something else going on in your soil? I've been gardening for years and I purposely throw all my old tomato plants, even the diseased ones, into the same spot and my tomatoes right next to it are always the healthiest in the neighborhood. Maybe your soil just lacked some nutrient or you overwatered, because I've never seen blight travel that far through the air from a compost heap.

Wait, you seriously toss diseased plants right back into the same soil and your tomatoes are FINE? That's crazy to me. How long have you been doing that without any issues?
