Pro tip: it took me 5 Saturdays to figure out why my patio pavers kept sinking
I laid about 200 sq ft of pavers behind my house in Columbus last spring and one corner kept dropping about half an inch after rain. I re-sanded the joints twice, pulled up 9 pavers, and even blamed my tamper. Turned out the downspout was dumping right at the edge and washing out the base under it, so I added a $12 splash block and a small gravel trench. Five Saturdays for a fix that took 15 minutes once I saw it. Anyone else had a spot in their patio that kept settling no matter what they did?
