Unpopular opinion: My best week ever was also my most awkward
Most people here share bad awkward stories, but mine is about a weirdly good week that was full of cringe. I got a surprise promotion at work on Monday, which was great, but then I had to give a 5 minute thank you speech to the whole department and completely blanked on my boss's name. The rest of the week, every time I saw him, I'd just nod way too hard. By Friday, I was so in my head about it that I accidentally called the office printer 'Steve' out loud. Has anyone else had a good thing happen that just got tangled up in awkwardness?
