Tripped over a stool at a house showing and pretended it was on purpose

I was showing a cute 2-bedroom to a young couple last Saturday and totally ate it over this tiny footstool in the kitchen. Caught myself on the counter but the stool went flying. I just pointed at it and said "good thing it's sturdy" like I meant to kick it. They signed the lease anyway so I guess it worked out. Has anyone else just powered through a fall like nothing happened?

bruh the key move here is owning it so hard that nobody even questions what happened. like you turned that trip into a whole performance piece about product durability. i’ve done similar stuff at open houses, once i slipped on a wet spot in the bathroom and just smoothly slid into a "hey check out how easy this floor is to clean" mid-fall. couples are so focused on the vibe they’ll buy anything if you sell the act right.

Smooth recovery, I respect the hustle. Nothing says "trustworthy realtor" like turning a near face-plant into a flooring demo. I bet you could trip into a pool and somehow spin it into a "look how deep this end is" moment. Couples probably leave those open houses thinking you're the most graceful person alive when really you're just a professional disaster recovery artist.

owning it so hard that nobody even questions what happened" man that's the whole secret right there... reminds me of this time I was rewiring a panel and my meter slipped and I just caught it like nothing happened while telling the homeowner "yep that's what I wanted to check
