Finally got that 2007 Civic hybrid battery pack to take a charge after a full day of diagnostics

The customer was ready to junk the car, but I found a single bad cell in the module and replaced just that one. Saved them over two grand on a whole new pack. Anyone else had a win with a hybrid system lately?

Man, that's the best kind of fix... finding the one tiny thing that saves a huge bill. I had a Prius last month with a weird power loss code, and everyone was pointing at the inverter. Turned out to be a corroded ground strap under the car. Cleaned it up for free and the car was perfect. Those little victories make the whole job worth it.

Honestly, that "one tiny thing" idea is why I always check the simple stuff first in life too.
