Guy at the NAPA counter in Reno said he can spot a bondo job from 40 feet
I was picking up some glaze putty last Tuesday when this older guy behind the counter told me he could spot a plastic filler job from 40 feet away just by the way light hits the panel. I laughed, but then he walked me out to the lot and called out three cars in a row that had repair work, and every one of them had that dull orange peel look under the clear coat. Guess I have been staring at dents too close for too long. Anyone else have a trick for catching filler work before you even put a hand on the panel?
