Finally finished that 2018 F-150 rust repair in one pass
Spent last Thursday on a Silverado at my shop in Toledo that had rot along the rocker panels, way worse than the pictures showed. Took me three hours just to cut out the cancer and fab new metal, but I got the weld seams smoothed and primer down before close. The owner even came by and said it looked factory, which felt good after 9 years of this trade. Anyone else find that older trucks just need extra time with a flapper disc before you even think about filler?
