Spent $1,200 on a home warranty 2 years ago, was it smart or a total waste?
I dropped $1,200 on a home warranty plan back in 2023 after my AC died in July and I panicked about future repair bills. My furnace broke this past January and they covered $2,800 worth of work with just a $75 service fee, which felt like a huge win. But I know people who paid for years and never used it once, so I'm curious where most of you land on these things, worth it or just gambling with extra steps?
