My old pressure washer finally gave out on me this morning
I was about to start a driveway job in Springfield and the motor just seized up, no warning at all. Had to run to the rental place and grab a new unit, which set me back $85 for the day. What's a good brand for a reliable residential pressure washer that won't quit after a couple seasons?

Heard some guys swear by the Generac electric ones for light duty stuff. They're supposed to be quieter and need less upkeep than gas.

Honestly, I used to be all about gas pressure washers no matter what. Tbh, shane_fisher37 has a point about the electric ones for lighter jobs. I borrowed my neighbor's Generac last summer and it was so much simpler, just plug and go with no messing with fuel or oil. Ngl, the quiet part is a huge plus when you're not trying to annoy the whole block. It really changed my mind for stuff like washing the car or the patio.

Man, that's the worst timing... nothing like gear failing right when you need it. Those rental fees add up quick, too. I've had good luck with Simpson units for around the house, they seem to hold up. Just make sure you get one with a Honda engine, those things are bulletproof.
