Appreciation post: the free water refill station at the Portland Saturday Market
I was at the Portland Saturday Market two weekends ago and noticed a plain wooden stand near the south entrance with a hand painted sign that just said "free water, take what you need." There was no tip jar, no logo, just a big jug and a stack of cups, and I watched at least 20 people use it in the 10 minutes I stood there. Does anyone know who sets these up, or have you seen similar stands pop up in your own city?
