PSA: Check your dryer vent before it turns into a furnace
I cleared mine out last Sunday after noticing the clothes took two cycles to dry. The lint buildup was about three inches deep at the wall connection, and the vent hose was crushed behind the machine. Took me 20 minutes with a brush kit from the hardware store, cost $14. Now everything dries in one pass. Has anyone else found a clog that bad, or was I just lucky?
Found the same thing a few months back, the hose was so packed it looked like a wig. Spent an hour cleaning it out and now the dryer actually finishes before the sun goes down.
