I finally stopped ironing my work shirts after 6 years, here's what changed my mind
So I used to iron every single button-down before heading to the office, like 3 shirts a week for 6 years. Last Tuesday I was running late and grabbed a shirt straight from the dryer, gave it a good snap and hung it up in the bathroom while I showered. The steam from the shower knocked out most of the wrinkles, I honestly couldn't believe it. My coworker Sarah even asked if I got a new iron because the shirt looked so crisp, I had to laugh. Now I'm wondering if I wasted all those Sunday nights hunched over the board, has anyone else ditched the iron for the shower trick or am I just late to the party?
