A 1920s cap is still a hundred years old. What condition was it in?

Actually the 1920s ended in 1929, so the newest ones are only about 95 years old. I mean, condition depends on how it was stored. I've seen some wool ones that are basically dust, but a leather cap kept in a trunk could still be in one piece. It's all about the material and if it was somewhere dry.

Oh man, that's still a cool find! I'd soak it in distilled water to get the crud off.
