Guy at a supply house in Dayton swore by dielectric grease on washer door switches, and he was dead wrong
Slathered it on 6 Whirlpool lids like he said, and 3 came back within 2 months with carbon tracking across the grease, so I want to know if he was messing with me or just repeating something he heard.

Dielectric grease on those switches just traps carbon, plain silicone spray worked for me.
