DAE think the 3 wire probe test is overrated? A call in Gary, Indiana made me rethink it
Had a dryer job last week where I wasted 90 minutes chasing the thermal fuse because I kept trusting the probe instead of just ohm-ing out the element like my old lead showed me back in 2019. Now I keep a cheap analog meter in the van for that exact reason. Anyone else got a go-to test that pros swear by but never works on real calls?
