Bought a $45 "fits most dryers" belt kit at a parts swap in Reno, none of the 3 belts lined up
Pulled the drum on a Whirlpool last Tuesday and thought I'd save a trip by grabbing the kit at a swap meet in Reno instead of ordering the exact belt. Got home and all 3 belts were a half inch off, so back went the whole thing on the shelf. That's $45 and two hours gone, plus the customer rescheduled and I lost the call fee. Lesson learned the hard way, I'm only buying by the actual part number now, even if it takes two days to ship. Anyone got a good source for cross-referencing belt sizes so I don't get burned again?
