That random convo in the merch line back in 2014

I was waiting for a Limited Edition figure at Anime Expo and this lady behind me started explaining why she rewatches episodes twice, once for plot and once for animation. She said 'the background art tells the real story' and I've never looked at Ghibli scenes the same since. Anyone else have a moment like that with a stranger at a con?
