PSA: tried pulling cat6 through a wall cavity with a shop vac and a plastic bag, saved me drilling 6 more holes
was fishing cable through a finished wall in a house up in Everett last month and could not get past the fire block for anything, so I tied a grocery bag to some mason line, sucked it through with the vac, and it popped out the other side in maybe 20 seconds. I figured it would just jam up but it worked on the next 3 runs too. anyone got a trick for when there's insulation packed in there and the bag keeps snagging?
