My 12 year old keypad finally died on a Tuesday install in Boise
The customer's old DSC keypad went dark mid program and I had to tell her the whole panel was toast. Anyone still keep spare keypads on the truck for old systems, or am I the only one hoarding them?

Ugh, that sinking feeling when the old gear just quits mid job. I heard a guy on a forum say he still carries a few old DSC pads because once they stop making them you're stuck hunting on eBay. Honestly keeping a couple spares on the truck sounds smart, not crazy.
