Held a deadbolt in my hand for 3 installs straight, all on the same street in Akron
Three houses on one block in Akron, three Schlage deadbolts that felt gritty right out of the box. Opened the third one up and the factory grease had dried into a waxy clump around the pins. How many of you are catching this on newer stock, or am I just getting the bad end of a warehouse pallet?
