Heard a tech in the supply house say he never tests the can, and that scared me
Was grabbing some 22/4 at the supply house on Tuesday and overheard a guy bragging that he wires up panels for a 30 home subdivision without ever checking his wire runs first. He said he's been doing it 12 years so his counts are always right, which is exactly the kind of thing that gets a call back at 9pm on a Friday. I get that we all get fast, but skipping a simple continuity check on the keypad loop is how you end up ripping drywall out of a finished foyer. Has anyone else run into guys cutting that corner, and do you say something or just let their punch list teach them?
