Wasted $300 on a snap-on ratchet that broke in 6 months

Figured I'd treat myself to a fancy snap-on ratchet for the heavy line work, but the head locked up after like 30 jobs. My old craftsman from 15 years ago is still going strong, what are you guys using for daily drivers?
