Torque wrench readings used to make me second guess, not anymore

For years I'd torque a bolt and then debate if the click actually felt right, especially on flight control rods where a mistake is no joke. Last month I started using a digital torque adapter and checking it against the old beam style wrench on the same fasteners, and the consistency blew my mind. Has anyone else made that switch and found their confidence going up, or do you still trust the classic click method over digital?
