I used to skip torque checks on interior screws until a guy in Wichita pulled one of my panels
He found 3 loose screws in a row and just held them up without saying a word, then said 'these come out at altitude, not on the ground,' which is why I now torque every single one even if it adds 20 minutes to the job.

Had a buddy in Anchorage who learned the same lesson the hard way, except his panel let go over the Chugach and he got to watch it tumble into the trees. Cost him a whole weekend of bushwhacking just to get the pieces back. Now he carries a torque wrench like it's his wallet.
