Changed my mind about that $300 inspection camera after a gear well check

Thought it was a gimmick, but it found a cracked actuator bracket I would've missed with a mirror. Anyone have a go-to brand for these that holds up to shop grime?

Way overbuilt" is exactly why you find it. That small surface crack is the start, and you want to catch it before it becomes a real split. Finding it early means a cheap fix now instead of a big one later.

That crack probably wasn't doing anything. Those brackets are way overbuilt, and a small surface crack often just sits there for years. I've seen way worse that passed annuals. Unless it was a full split ready to let go, you might have just found a problem that didn't need fixing yet.
