Watched a robot arm sort peaches at a packing house near Yakima and it made me think about my grandpa's hands
Stopped by a fruit packing plant outside Yakima last fall and the whole line was these AI camera setups grading peaches for bruises at something like 10 per second. My grandpa did that job by hand for 30 years and could spot a bad one from across the room, so I keep wondering if the machine ever misses the weird ones he'd catch. Anyone here work with vision systems in food processing and know how they handle the oddball stuff?
