Thought those AI stem splitters were a gimmick until I ran my dad's old cassette
I've been messing with audio cleanup for a while and always figured the AI tools were just fancy EQ with a nice label. Then two weeks ago I ran a beat up cassette of my dad playing guitar in 1989 through a free one called Demucs, mainly to pull his voice off the hiss. It separated the guitar from his humming so clean that my mom recognized a song she hadn't placed in 30 years. Now I'm wondering if I've been sleeping on this stuff, what other AI audio tools have actually worked for you guys?
