Comparison between ChatGPT and Claude for writing emails at work

I ran a test last week where I asked both tools to draft the same email response to a difficult customer complaint. ChatGPT gave me a robotic corporate mess while Claude's version actually sounded like a real person talking. Anyone else find one AI model clearly better for certain real world tasks?

Interesting you say that cause I had the exact opposite experience when I tried both on a customer complaint email last week... ChatGPT actually got the tone right for me and Claude came off way too casual. Guess it really depends on what kind of "real person" you want it to sound like.

Yeah totally agree with that... customer complaints especially are weird cause you gotta walk that line between being professional and sounding like you actually care. ChatGPT seems to default to a more apologetic formal tone while Claude goes for friendly which can backfire bad if someone's already mad. For me it's been trial and error too, I've started keeping a little cheat sheet of prompts for different situations cause one size definitely doesn't fit all.
