Was super skeptical about cold brew concentrate but now I'm hooked
I used to think cold brew was just a gimmick for people who couldn't handle hot coffee. But a buddy at work kept insisting I try his batch he made with some generic store brand beans and a mason jar. I gave in last tuesday and honestly it blew my mind. The smoothness is legit, no bitterness at all even without any sugar. I've been making my own batches for about a week now and I can't believe how easy it is. So much better than iced coffee from the drive thru which always tastes burnt to me. Anyone else get converted on something they thought was overhyped?

Bruh wait you said tv static 😂 that is literally the perfect description for La Croix I'm dead. But ok for real though, the cold brew conversion is real. I let mine steep for like 18 hours and it comes out so smooth I could drink it black which is wild because I usually need a ton of cream in hot coffee. The burnt taste from drive thru iced coffee is exactly what made me hate it for years, thought I just didn't like cold coffee. Now I'm sitting here with a mason jar in my fridge like some kind of coffee hipster and I'm not even mad about it.

Man chill out with the cold brew gospel! lol I actually went through something similar but with sparkling water. Like everyone was raving about La Croix and I was like nah that stuff tastes like tv static. Then I bought a case on a whim and now I can't stop. I think the cold brew thing is real though because it just hits different. How long do you let yours steep for? I bet you could use that stuff in baking or something too.
