Finally spent $38 on a real burr grinder, my French press game is forever different
Honestly I was using the same blade grinder for like 5 years and just accepted the dusty uneven grounds. Last week I bit the bullet on a basic burr grinder from a local shop in Denver and ran it on my usual dark roast. The difference in the cup was night and day, no more sludge at the bottom and the flavor actually held up past the first sip. Has anyone else had that moment where a cheap upgrade made them question all their past brewing choices?
