The shift in our Google Ads before/after a single landing page swap

So we rewanted one client's landing page in like 3 hours last Thursday. Same exact campaign, same budget, just stripped out the clutter and made the headline match the ad copy word for word. Their quality score jumped from 4 to 8 overnight and the cost per lead dropped from $38 to $12 in under a week. Has anyone else seen that kinda instant reaction just from fixing one element, or was this a lucky fluke?

Boy howdy, that's what I call a 3 hour miracle! I swear half of this digital marketing stuff is just smoke and mirrors until you fix one dumb thing and the whole house of cards pays off. I once changed a single button color on a client's site and the click rate went up 20%, so now I'm convinced the universe just likes to mess with us when we finally do something simple and right. Matching the headline to the ad copy is such a boring fix too, no fancy A/B testing or machine learning voodoo, just basic common sense. I bet your Google Ads rep is gonna take credit for that one though, they always do. Anyway, hold onto that win because the algorithm will probably flip the switch back next Tuesday just to keep you humble. Good job, seriously, that's a huge drop in cost per lead no matter how you slice it.
