Serious question, did we all just stop doing real media buys and start trusting auto placement?
I used to sit down every Monday, pull the Nielsen books for the Atlanta market, and physically call three radio stations to lock in spots for a client. Now I open the dashboard, set a budget of $4,000, check a box that says 'let us find your audience,' and walk away. The part that bugs me is I can't tell a client why their ad ran at 2am on a podcast about woodworking when they sell wedding cakes. I miss being able to point at a page and say I chose that. Anyone else feel like the control we gave up was worth less than the time we got back?
