Just read that 70% of people mute TV ads immediately, which seems like a huge problem we're not talking about enough.
Found that stat in a Nielsen report yesterday and it makes me wonder if we're all just making really expensive background noise.

Ever wonder if the people who pay for those ads even watch regular TV anymore?

What happens when even the people making the ads don't see them? I saw an article that said a lot of ad agency folks just use streaming services with no ads at all. Robert_lopez64 has a point, right? They're paying for this stuff but living in a totally different media world. It feels like they're just shouting into a void they built themselves.
