Stuck axle on a ledge outside Moab, winch saved my trip

Last month I was on a rocky switchback near Moab and dropped the passenger rear tire into a washout. The axle dug in hard, frame rested on a boulder, and I couldn't rock it out after 20 tries. I finally used a tree strap and my 9,000 lb winch to pull sideways, but now my diff breather hose is kinked. Anyone else had to reroute their breather after a winch yank like that?
