Just crossed 1,200 trail miles on my old Tacoma in Big Bend, didn't see that coming
Picked up the truck with 210k on it last spring and figured it'd be a weekend toy, but between the Terlingua ghost towns and some river crossings I've somehow racked up more miles than my daily driver. Has anyone else kept a mileage log for their rig and been shocked at how fast it adds up, or am I just overthinking the numbers?
Wait, you put 1,200 miles on it in a season? That's wild. I logged maybe 800 on my rig last year and I thought that was a lot. Big Bend eats up miles though, I did the River Road once and burned a whole tank just getting to the good spots. Bet those river crossings added up fast too. You're not overthinking it, the numbers sneak up on you.
