The 8 PM grocery run is better than Saturday morning, and I can prove it
For 15 years I did my shopping every Saturday at 9 AM like everyone else. Last month my schedule flipped, so I tried Tuesday night around 8 PM at the Kroger on 42nd. The aisles were empty, the deli had fresh roasted chicken just coming out, and I found three employees stocking so I could actually ask where things were. No strollers blocking the cereal, no couples arguing over salsa, and my total time went from 55 minutes down to 32. Has anyone else switched their shopping time and noticed the whole experience is just better when you're not fighting the crowd?
