That chess club guy's comment about my opening made me rethink ten years of play
He said my Sicilian Defense was predictable after I lost three games in a row at the library tournament last Saturday, and now I'm wondering if memorizing those 15 variations was just hiding that I never learned the basics, anyone else had a casual remark like that flip their whole approach?
