Caught myself looping a video of honey drizzling over yogurt

It's just so perfect how the honey flows in a steady stream. I need more clips like this to unwind after work. What channels post the best satisfying food footage?

Ugh, I watched a ten minute loop of a rotary cheese slicer last night... completely forgot to make dinner.

That's a solid choice for a loop, honestly. We've all fallen down the weird hole of oddly specific food videos. For me it's the ones where someone pours the fizzy drink perfectly over ice without any foam, or cracks a creme brulee with that one clean tap. The algorithm loves to feed me slow-mo chocolate dipping stuff now. Might have to search for "satisfying food ASMR" and fall into a three-hour trap of watching people slice clay soap.

Read a piece last week that broke down why stuff like perfect pour videos is so gripping. It said our brains get a little hit of dopamine from seeing a task completed without a mess, like no foam on the soda. Makes sense why the algorithm shoves more of it at us, since we keep clicking. From my experience, it's a harmless way to zone out, but I've lost whole afternoons to clay slicing compilations. Your creme brulee crack example is spot on, that crisp sound is everything. Take this with a grain of salt, but I reckon we're all just wired to enjoy a bit of order in the chaos.
